pixel cat Particle Editor
Pixel Cat Particle Editor » Devlog
Introducing my pixel cat particle editor! pixel cat is particle editor that can be used to make different pixel effects. I've added a lot of the basic features. Here's a list.
- You can import your own images and use them as particles
- You can pick pre-made particle shapes
- Particles have different configurations that you can edit, speed, gravity/force, size of the particle, its lifetime, color, etc..
- You can export the configurations you make into a json file
- You can add 'pixelization' effects to your particles
- Support for mac, windows, and linux
Here are the things I want to get done, then I can release a beta for everyone to check out
- Fine tune rendering. I need a way to combine all the images created in the rendering process to make a spritesheet
- Need to add opacity to my color selector
- Fine tune the rendering mode so that you can see exactly what frames are going to be used in the sprite sheet.
Here's a video on it, I describe the features on it. Do you want any specific functionality added? Shoot me a message, or let me know in the comments below. Let me know what you all think!
